Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis vs. Uisma Lima full card results, schedule for 2025 boxing fight

Jaron Ennis moves up in weight, as the forcer champion takes on Uisma Lima on Oct. 11 for the interim WBA super welterweight title. The fight at the Xfinity Mobile Arena airs on DAZN worldwide.

A former IBF, WBA and Ring welterweight champion, Ennis (34-0) beat his toughest opponent to date, Eimantas Stanionis, with ease in April. “Boots” had hopes to face Terence Crawford, but the Philadelphia native looks to have moved on.

Lima (14-1) has ten wins via knockout. A massive underdog, the Angolan competes in the U.S. for the first time after beating opponents all over the world.

To prove he can face and beat the best boxing has to offer, Ennis looks to make an example out of Lima. Meanwhile, Lima looks to enter enemy territory and walk out with the upset win.

“He’s definitely a good fighter for sure, I’ve watched him and I like what I see. But there’s levels though,” Ennis said. “He’s fighting those guys over there, they don’t have my skill to go with my power and my ability. I’m on a whole different level.

“When he actually gets in there with me on Saturday night, he’s going to be like, ‘Yo, he is a lot faster than I thought, stronger than I thought, slicker.’”

“They know I can beat him. I know he’s an elite fighter, but I am too. I have everything I need; ring IQ, footwork, I am fast, I have strength, I have an offense, and I am in the best shape of my life. I can do everything he can do,” Lima said.
