Bournemouth vs. Fulham lineups: Predicted starting XI, team news, injury latest as visitors face striker crisis

In-form Bournemouth play host to Fulham on October 3 in the final Premier League matchweek before the next international break.

Andoni Iraola’s side are flying right now with an unbeaten streak of five league games including three wins, although the Cherries were eliminated from the Carabao Cup by Brentford.

In contrast, visitors Fulham are struggling for momentum, with just two league victories from six since the start of 2025/26.

Marco Silva’s side have booked their spot in the Round of 16 of the Carabao Cup, at least, where they face EFL League One side Wycombe Wanderers on October 28.

Bournemouth vs. Fulham lineups: Predicted starting XI, team news, injury crisis latest

Bournemouth needed a late goal off the bench to scrap out a 2-2 draw at Leeds United last weekend and preserve their unbeaten run.

Eli Kroupi obliged with his first goal in English football and Iraola has not confirmed any fresh injury updates with Enes Unal and Adam Smith sidelined until after the international break.

The hosts could reshuffle their midfield for this game with Alex Scott and Marcus Tavernier tipped to return.

Bournemouth predicted starting XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Petrovic (GK) — Jimenez, Diakite, Senesi, Truffert  — Adams, Scott — Tavernier, Kluivert, Semenyo — Evanilson

Injured: Unal (knee), Smith (thigh), Cook (shoulder, doubt).
Suspended: None

Fulham’s main concern focuses on Silva’s attack with Raul Jimenez and Rodrigo Muniz both out through injury.

Jimenez was forced off with a groin problem just 11 minutes into Fulham’s 3-1 loss at Aston Villa last time out. With Muniz already sidelined, the Mexican will have a late fitness test ahead of the game.

Silva could push Josh King forward as a ‘false nine’ and start Emile Smith Rowe, with Kevin and Samuel Chukwueze both still short on match fitness.

Jonah Kusi-Asare, signed on loan from Bayern Munich on transfer deadline day, is seen as more of a last resort as Silva believes the 18-year-old forward needs more time to adjust to his new club.

Fulham predicted starting XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Leno (GK) — Castagne, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson — Berge, Lukic — Wilson, Smith Rowe, Iwobi — King

Injured: Muniz (muscle), Jimenez (groin, doubt), Tete (knee)
Suspended: None
