New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor has long been known as one of MLB’s premier shortstops, with five All-Star selections, two Gold Gloves, and four Silver Sluggers to his name through a decade in baseball’s highest level.
From his clutch postseason hits with the Cleveland Guardians to his recent revamping in Queens with the Mets, few are as talented at what they do as much as “Mr. Smile.”
However, there’s another talented Lindor in the New York area, his wife, Katia.

Katia Lindor, Francisco’s wife of four years in December and mother to their three children, wowed the Citi Field crowd Tuesday with an electric rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” on her violin.

The performance was well perceived by the fans in Queens, and her superstar shortstop husband was visibly impressed by her playing as well.
As this article is written, the Mets lead the San Diego Padres 8-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning, with one of those runs courtesy of a solo home run by Lindor in the bottom of the second inning.
