The couple’s relationship traces back to their high school days at Nazareth Academy in Illinois, where McCarthy and Kuropas first met and began dating.
McCarthy proposed to Kuropas in January 2024, shortly after leading Michigan to a national championship.
The Vikings QB missed Thursday’s practice as he supported Kuropas during the final stages of her pregnancy. On Sunday, he is set to make his home debut for the Vikings against the Atlanta Falcons.
