Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Harrison Bader did the most in a tough situation when Drew Feltwell was confronted during a game against the Miami Marlins after his son caught a home run ball hit by Bader.
Bader made the family’s day, giving them a signed bat and more.
The Marlins also gave the child gifts, making Lincoln Feltwell feel a bit better after the unfortunate situation at the game.
A company ready to spend big on a baseball
However, a few days later, it’s still in the news.
This is a weird situation for all involved, but some companies want the ball back in the child’s hands. That includes Blowout Cards, which posted on its website that it is willing to give $5,000 for that baseball right now, as long as the lady involved puts “I’m sorry” on the baseball.
“Dad grabbed a home run ball for his son, she wanted it back … and now BlowoutCards.com needs it. We’ll offer $5,000 for that baseball right here, right now … but there is a catch.
“We want that ball signed and inscribed by her — and only her, whoever she is — “I’m sorry” so we can simply give it back to the kid. Our offer is official and the offer is firm — here’s our tweet noting it all and making the offer public,” they wrote.

Not only do they want the baseball and are willing to give $5,000 for it, but they also want to give the ball back to Lincoln.
“The Phillies tweet alone about all of this — one of its images is seen here — has been viewed more than 19 million times. The Internet is trying to do its thing and figure out who has the ball and some people think they know … but who knows? At the same time, the one thing we absolutely do know, without question, is who absolutely needs that baseball in his new Harrison Bader collection.
“Who can help Lincoln out?”
It’s unlikely that the fan will let give the baseball to this company for $5,000, even if it’s to stay out of the public light, but it’d be pretty awesome to get Lincoln what should be his.
