Is there an NFL game today? Full TV schedule, times, channels for 2025 Week 1 games

There’s finally light at the end of the tunnel: The new NFL season is here.

The three-week preseason is over, with every team finalizing their respective 53-man roster earlier in the week. That sets the stage for the traditional pomp and circumstance associated with Week 1 of the NFL season, when every team can still dare to dream big.

This year, the season opener features the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles welcoming in their NFC East rivals, the Cowboys, for a showdown on Thursday night.

But eager fans will have to wait just a little while longer, as that matchup is scheduled for next Thursday, as the 32 teams relish one final reprieve before the grind of a 17-game season sets in.

Here’s everything that you need to know about the upcoming NFL schedule.
