The Golden State Warriors have endured a tough offseason, to say the absolute least.
The team continues to search for options regarding restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga, as they attempt to add some reinforcements to a star-studded roster that already includes Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Jimmy Butler, hoping to fuel up one more championship run while the age of the three stars allows it.
And if all work out, they could do it via the free agency market.
Warriors Potentially Showing Interest in Malik Beasley
According to NBA insider Keith Smith, the Warriors could potentially be involved in the running for Beasley, but their situation with Kuminga is currently holding them back.
Beasley appeared in all 82 games for Detroit in 2024-25, and started 18 of them, averaging 16.3 points per game and boasting a 41.6 percent three-point shooting percentage.
Beasley’s best statistical season came just after he was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves back in the 2019-20 season, where he averaged 20.7 points in 14 started games for the Wolves.
Beasley played one season with the Florida State Seminoles and was selected with the 19th overall pick in the first round of the 2016 NBA draft.
