Anthony Edwards believes he could poster 7-foot-6 NBA Hall of Famer

Anthony Edwards is one of the most exciting high flyers the league has had in the past few years.

The Timberwolves star is constantly breaking social media with his posterizing dunks, finding a new way to do the unthinkable with each new dunk.

Ant-Man is a confident player who doesn’t back down from any challenge. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that in a recent social media post, he said that he thinks he could dunk on an all-time NBA great.

What Hall of Famer does Edwards believe he could posterize?

Edwards recently met up with Rockets Hall of Fame center Yao Ming.

Edwards posted a picture he took with Yao on social media, captioning it “I wud dunk on Yao shout out to one of da greats.”

Ming had a short career due to injuries, but had eight great seasons in the NBA. He was a generational talent, standing at 7-6, and was one of a handful of international players to be drafted No. 1 overall at the time.

Edwards has had some jaw-dropping dunks that have taught us not to doubt what he’s capable of.

Even so, Ming averaged 1.9 blocks in his career. With his size and wingspan, he would be a very difficult player to dunk on.

We’ll never know if Edwards could actually dunk on Ming, as the two never came close to having their careers or primes overlap, but the idea of it is interesting. Who prevails when one of the greatest dunkers of all time goes up against an all-time top-tier defender with incredible stature?
