FC Barcelona still has a busy two weeks ahead, as the summer transfer window will close soon. The club will attempt to work on the future of the squad and complete the team for this season. Barcelona is working on registering three players who will be part of Hansi Flick’s plans for this season.
Barcelona wants to register Roony Bardghji, Wojciech Szczęsny, and Gerard Martin. Out of all three players, reports in Spain suggest that Martin is the player Hansi Flick wants to register first, as the next league game for Barcelona is against Levante.
The club is expected to let a player go to register Martin in time for the next league games, which are against Levante and Rayo Vallecano. The plan is that the player to be let go this summer is Oriol Romeu.
FC Barcelona will terminate Oriol Romeu’s contract
Luis Rojo from Marca reports that FC Barcelona has reached an agreement with Oriol Romeu for the termination of his contract. The player’s contract is expected to be terminated tomorrow, just days before Barcelona’s game against Levante.
There are only a few details left to complete the termination, and after it is complete, Gerard Martin is expected to be registered for the upcoming La Liga games. Martin missed the game against Mallorca over the weekend, along with Roony Bardghji and Wojciech Szczęsny.
Roony Bardghji and Wojciech Szczęsny are expected to be registered before September, with more departures potentially on the horizon for FC Barcelona. Hector Fort is linked to a move away from the club this summer.
There are also rumors of Fermin Lopez and Marc Casado potentially leaving the club. Casado does not want to leave the club, but Premier League clubs have shown interest and are reportedly willing to offer around 30 million euros.
