Lucas Vazquez parted ways with Real Madrid in July after a decade-long tenure at Santiago Bernabeu.
After graduating from the Real Madrid academy in 2010, Vazquez started his senior career with their reserve teams, followed by a season-long loan to Espanyol.
Vazquez returned to the club, receiving his first-team debut in 2015, and the rest was history. The Spaniard has won a total of 23 trophies with Los Blancos, including five UEFA Champions League titles and four La Liga titles. He registered 402 appearances for the La Liga giants, while scoring 38 goals and providing 73 assists.
Since his departure from Real Madrid, Vazquez has yet to join a new club, and now reports have suggested that the 34-year-old can potentially reunite with one of his former Los Blancos teammates, Cristiano Ronaldo, at the Saudi Pro League.
While speaking to Arabic outlet EremNews, Vazquez mentioned that he has not made a decision about his future yet and said,
“I haven’t decided my next destination yet,” as per GOAL.

What’s next for Real Madrid veteran Lucas Vazquez?
After leaving Real Madrid as a free agent, Vazquez has been linked with a move to several clubs across leagues.
Reports suggested that Super Lig side Fenerbahce were reportedly keen on signing Vazquez, who ruled out a possible move to Turkey.
Espanyol were also interested in bringing back Vazquez to the club. However, the Spanish star reportedly doesn’t want to play in Spain out of respect for Real Madrid. He has also received reported offers from Qatar, Premier League, and Serie A sides.
Vazquez’s comments indicate that the possibility of him playing alongside Ronaldo again prevails. The former Real Madrid duo have shared the pitch for 100 matches at Los Blancos, during which they had 17 joint goal participations
With less than two weeks left for the transfer window deadline, it remains to be seen which club Vazquez will select as his next destination.
