Rashford proclaims ‘No reason why Barca won’t win all titles’

Marcus Rashford has done an interview with Sport and El Periódico in which he talks about Hansi Flick, Lamine Yamal, and his thoughts on Barcelona so far.

The full interview will come out on Tuesday, but Sport has shared bits of pieces including a proclamation about Barcelona.

When talking about the mentality and motivation of the team he stated, “I see no reason why this Barca won’t win all the titles”.

Win It All?

Rashford’s statement can be seen as a bold one but it’s the right sentiment he should have.

Barcelona were successful in all domestic competitions and fell just short in the Champions League semifinals against Inter Milan.

The team should expect to compete and try to win all the trophies and Rashford said he’s here to “help how he can” to get to that ultimate goal.

It’s nice to know that the players share this sentiment but they need to show it on the pitch as Hansi Flick was not happy with the performance on Saturday as it was a performance of an overly confident team.

Can They Do It?

Barcelona are very strong going forward and are a top contender for every competition they are in this season. It may come down to the performances of their defensive unit as that unit let them down last year.

It also comes down to how they manage rotations and keep their key players fit as they lost Alejandro Balde and Jules Kounde for the last stretch of the season last year.

Whether Barcelona wins it all is yet to be seen as the season just got underway, but this is the sentiment that all Barcelona fans want to hear from their players.
