Cole Palmer raves about new Chelsea signing

Chelsea have managed to attract a whole host of attacking talent to Stamford Bridge in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Estevao Willian, Liam Delap and Joao Pedro have all joined the Blues this summer, but Cole Palmer remains the talisman for the team.

But neither Palmer nor anyone else was able to inspire Chelsea to victory against Crystal Palace on the opening weekend of the Premier League season.

Former footballers like Glenn Hoddle criticised Palmer’s performance in the game against Palace, given how good the player was for Chelsea in the Club World Cup.

The team struggled to create any clear-cut chances against a disciplined Palace side and were forced to settle for a 0-0 draw on Sunday.

Despite the disappointing result, Palmer is happy with Chelsea’s recruitment so far and has earmarked one newcomer who has impressed him the most.

Cole Palmer raves about new Chelsea signing Joao Pedro

One of the players who was recently added to the Chelsea frontline was Joao Pedro, and he has made an instant impact for his new club.

Going into the game against Palace, Pedro had managed 5 goals in 5 games and was deemed to be a bargain signing for the club.

Now, Palmer has revealed his admiration for his new teammate and added that he enjoys playing with the Brazilian.

Palmer said, “He’s so good, man. Like, I love playing with him, even in training, we just have good chemistry and know where each other is gonna be. It was amazing to see him coming. Obviously, we knew he was a good player before, but to see him actually in person, it’s good.”

The fact that Palmer and Pedro love playing with each other is a massive positive for Chelsea, and though they could not take their team to victory in their first Premier League game together, it feels like it’s only a matter of time before they start delivering for the team.
