Jose Ramirez is currently occupying a club with a membership of one.
There’s still time for others to join him this season, but right now, the Cleveland Guardians’ superstar stands alone.
The group? The 25 homer, 35 steal club.
Ramirez is the only player so far this season to achieve both of those marks.
He’s coming off a great three-game series against the Marlins in which he went 7-for-11 with two home runs and two stolen bases.
On the season, he’s now hitting .298 with 25 home runs, 35 stolen bases, 64 RBI and an .899 OPS.
For those wondering, Ramirez has reached the 25-35 club three times before this season.

Just last season, Ramirez finished the campaign with 39 home runs and 41 steals. It was a bit out of the spotlight as Shohei Ohtani went 50-50, but Ramirez nearly joined the exclusive 40-40 club.
He’d have to heat up with his power to get close to that this year, but it’s still an epic campaign in the works for Ramirez, as usual.

He’s been one of the best players in the American League every season since 2016, which means this is the 10th season running that Ramirez is dominating.
Ramirez has never won an MVP, which might contribute to his slight lack of notoriety. But this is one of the best ballplayers on the planet, and him being the first guy this season to 25-35 is just another example of how special Ramirez is.
