The US Open kicks off with the Mixed Doubles Championship, seeing the best players in the world pair up for another title at New York’s grand slam tournament. This year, it includes stars like Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz, Iga Swiatek and Venus Williams.
Williams recently made her return to tennis at the Cincinnati Open, getting back to the sport after over a year off. A seven-time Grand Slam champion, the US Open is the only Grand Slam final she has failed to reach. She’ll pair up with Reilly Opelka after earning a wild-card bid in the competition.
The duo has a hill to climb to win the championship, though, as reigning victors Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori will pair up once again.

While the singles competition is the main event of the tournament, this year’s Mixed Doubles competition is a bigger focus than before. It was moved from the third week to the first week of the tournament, also when Fan Week takes place, to give the action center stage.
It all goes down at Arthur Ashe Stadium to kick off the biggest sporting event in New York City. Here’s what to know about the tennis matches including teams, schedules and how to buy tickets.

Tickets for the US Open Mixed Doubles Championship are available now on StubHub.
The matches kick off the tournament and are available in day passes. Round 1 and 2 on Tuesday currently cost $45 to watch while the semifinals and finals on Wednesday has a get-in cost of $85.

US Open Mixed Doubles 2025 schedule of matches
The US Open Mixed Doubles Championship will take place over just two days. Rounds 1 and 2 will be played the morning of August 19 while the semifinals and final will play Wednesday evening.
