The future of Chelsea star Nicolas Jackson has been a topic of discussion all summer long.
The Senegal international has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge following the summer arrivals of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
Having fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea, Jackson is unlikely to stick around in West London as he looks for a club where he will be given a starting role.
As the transfer window enters its final few weeks, it looks like a case of when rather than if Jackson will leave Chelsea.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has all but confirmed this news and stated that Jackson will leave the Blues this summer.
Even Enzo Maresca basically admitted that Jackson was likely going to be leaving the club this summer, in his latest words that came out on Thursday.

What Fabrizio Romano said about Nicolas Jackson leaving Chelsea
According to a post on X, Romano said, “I can tell you here today Jackson WILL leave Chelsea this summer. It’s been decided by both player and club. It’s over.”
“Chelsea will start from £80m valuation for Nicolas Jackson, let’s see the bids. Newcastle interest, Spurs interest if Richarlison leaves + interest from abroad.”
“Chelsea and Jackson feel it’s time to part ways, Chelsea signed new strikers, and Jackson wants to be important. Jackson will be the next big name on the market this summer.”
Going by Romano’s statement, it seems as though it’s only a matter of time before Jackson leaves Chelsea.
Jackson’s decision to leave Chelsea seems to be a mutual one and seems to be the best one for all parties involved.
