76ers predicted to land youngster coming off 19.8 PPG average at prestigious event

There’s plenty that Philadelphia 76ers fans can be upset about with the front office. However, if there’s one thing they can’t be too upset with, it’s the fact that the 76ers know how to draft with the best of them.

If it weren’t for the 76ers having some of the top draft evaluators in the NBA, things would look even worse than they do at times.

As they move forward, whether it’s moving on from players and trying to go with a younger approach, they have some tough decisions to make.

Bleacher Report believes one of those tough decisions they have to make will come in the form of Bryson Howard in the 2027 NBA Draft. Bleacher Report had them with the No. 10 pick, predicting them to select Howard, who has offers from UConn, Tennessee, Kentucky, Duke, and many others.

“Bryson Howard has been on a tear during EYBL play. In 21 games with Pro Skills, he’s shot 45.4 percent on 108 three-point attempts, exciting efficiency for a wing who already possesses NBA wing tools. While he still has plenty of room to grow as a creator, he’s still effective attacking closeouts, using the right footwork off the dribble and tapping into his athleticism for off-ball finishing.

“Howard’s stock continues to rise after he just averaged 19.8 points at Peach Jam,”  Jonathan Wasserman wrote.

As they touched on, he recently impressed at Peach Jam, arguably the best event in high school basketball. The four-star recruit is rated as high as a top-25 player in the country, and should get a fifth star sometime in the near future.
