Tua Tagovailoa was the can’t-miss prospect.
His younger brother, Taulia, has traveled a different football path than the Miami Dolphins’ QB.
Both love the game and love to play quarterback, though, no matter the setting.
Taulia’s latest football playing is happening in the Indoor Football League. He signed recently with the Massachusetts Pirates, and he made his team debut on July 25.
In that game, Taulia went 8-for-17 passing for 55 yards, a TD and three picks. He also ran nine times for 66 yards and two TDs.

Taulia’s path came up this week because Tua spoke about it at Dolphins training camp on Wednesday.
This is what the older bro shared with reporters:
“For my younger brother, I would tell him, ‘Man, he must really love this’ because he played in the CFL, then he went to Germany to play, then he came to Boston to play in the [Indoor] Football League. So he’s got a little cooler gig, if you will, than me with traveling to different places and seeing things, but I love my brother. I support him in any and everything that he does and I’m here for him for whatever he needs.”

Taulia was a strong collegiate quarterback at Maryland.
The right-hander (unlike his older brother) actually went to Alabama for a year, but then he spent four seasons with the Terrapins.
In his final campaign, 2023, he led the Big Ten with 3,377 passing yards and 25 passing touchdowns.
He may not have an NFL future, but he’s still playing football. And clearly, that’s all that matters to Taulia Tagovailoa.
