Manchester United concluded the Premier League Summer Series with a 2-2 draw against Everton.
Despite the draw, United secured the Summer Series title, giving them their first piece of hardware under Ruben Amorim.
The squad seemed rejuvenated during the mini-tournament, with Ruben Amorim even admitting the team looks changed.
Another important figure in United’s hierarchy, Omar Berrada, has given his assessment on the team and what’s to come for the squad next season.
What did Berrada say about United’s upcoming season?
Speaking before United’s match against Everton, Berrada said, “The mood has been very good. The culture, the standards, the values, we are trying to ensure that we create a team spirit that allows the players to compete at the highest level.
“We have very high standards, Ruben is very clear about that, and so is Jason [Wilcox]. It is something we want to see with the players, with the staff, with everyone, because what we want to do is to win and to start winning titles as soon as possible.”

Berrada also discussed the changes to the squad, saying, “Of course, adding players helps. We have seen the arrival of Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, and Diego Leon. They have adapted really well.”

“So all of the signs are positive, and we are cautiously optimistic. We hope we are going to have a great season.”
Berrada also hinted at what the rest of the transfer window could look like. The chief executive said, “We have to do a lot of multitasking.
“We have a team back home led by Jason, the recruitment team, that is working around the clock to ensure that we continue to find opportunities to strengthen our squad.
“There are lots of late calls and early morning meetings to make sure that we stay on top of it.”
United are still working to get a striker, with Benjamin Sesko high on the list. The club hasn’t ruled out signing a goalkeeper or midfielder, which could point to a busy end of the transfer window for the Red Devils.
