The Toronto Maple Leafs may not be done.
There remains one very intriguing free agent available: Jack Roslovic.
According to Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman, Roslovic has six suitors, and one of them is the Maple Leafs.
Toronto continues to look for points-getters to help make up for the loss of Mitch Marner.
Roslovic qualifies. He just tied his career-high with 22 goals in 2024-25 for the Carolina Panthers, adding 17 assists in the process.
He’s the top goal scorer remaining in free agency, and he’s only 28 years old.
Friedman added that some of the remaining free agents don’t want to sign deals that seem like huge bargains, but it’s that point in the process where there may not be a ton of choice. Teams, including Toronto, don’t have tons of cap space left, but they still want a guy like Roslovic.
“He’s the best available player remaining,” Friedman said on his podcast. “And, obviously, he hasn’t found anything he 100 percent likes. But there are definitely a few teams poking around there. I’ve heard five or six teams. So, he needs to get to something he feels comfortable with.”

In his career, Roslovic has already played for Winnipeg, Columbus, the Rangers and the Hurricanes.
He played collegiately at Miami (Ohio) and is from Columbus, Ohio.
The Maple Leafs will have a tough race on their hand to get Roslovic. They’d probably have to trade away one of their bottom-dwelling contracts to clear enough space to sign him.
But if they get a guy who can score them 20 goals, it’d be a maneuver worth trying. Someone will certainly luck out by getting Roslovic this late in the game.
