The 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame class may be the smallest in two decades, but the field casts a long shadow.

The four NFL players who will be enshrined combined for 24 Pro Bowls and 11 All-Pro selections over 49 combined seasons.

Antonio Gates, an undrafted free agent, rewrote the record books with 116 touchdown receptions, the most ever by a tight end.

Jared Allen, renowned for his pass-rushing prowess, finished with 136 sacks and twice led the league.

Sterling Sharpe, a dominant Packers receiver whose career was cut short by injury, becomes part of NFL history alongside his brother Shannon, the first sibling duo ever enshrined.

Eric Allen, a ballhawk at corner, ranks among the league’s interception leaders with 54 picks.

When is the NFL’s Hall of Fame ceremony for 2025?

The class of 2025 will be enshrined at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

What channel is the Hall of Fame ceremony?

The Hall of Fame ceremony will air on NFL Network and ESPN.

Who is in the Hall of Fame Class of 2025?

Four players will be enshrined in the Hall of Fame in 2025, the fewest since 2005.

Defensive back Eric Allen, defensive end Jared Allen, tight end Antonio Gates and wide receiver Sterling Sharpe will earn the honor of having their busts revealed in Canton, Ohio.

Allen the defensive back played in the late 1980s to the early 2000s. This was his 19th year of eligibility. Allen had 54 career interceptions and eight interceptions returned for touchdowns.

Allen the defensive end played throughout the early 2000s to the mid-2010s. He led the NFL in sacks twice (in 2007 and 2011).

Gates played his entire career with the Chargers from 2003-18. His 116 receiving touchdowns are most in NFL history for a tight end and seventh most all-time.

Sharpe played his entire career with the Packers from 1988-94. This was his 26th year of eligibility. Sharpe set the NFL record for catches in a season in 1992 and then in 1993 (108 and 112).

Allen, Allen and Gates were selected from the Modern-Era pool of candidates, while Sharpe was selected from a second pool of candidates chosen by the Blue-Ribbon committee.
