
Amed Rosario has an absolutely wild connection to the New York Yankees and Yankee Stadium.
He’ll get to spend more time in pinstripes now at the Stadium after the Yanks traded for him on Saturday night from the Washington Nationals.
But believe it or not, Rosario has already hit a walk-off home run at Yankee Stadium.
He did it as a visiting player, one of only two guys since 1900 to accomplish that near-impossible feat.
Rosario has the weird COVID-19 2020 season to thank, when games got played in a bit of a willy-nilly fashion.
On Aug. 28, 2020, Rosario was playing for the Mets in a game at Yankee Stadium where the Yankees batted first, to allow the Mets to be the home team as schedules shifted.
Rosario delivered a walk-off homer to defeat the Yankees.

Ironically, current Yankees outfielder Trent Grisham did the same thing that year, for the Padres in San Francisco.
