Barcelona have secured Marcus Rashford on a loan deal, after a long search for a new left winger.
The club has also brought in goalkeeper Joan Garcia and right winger Roony Bardghji.
President Joan Laporta has now revealed what the rest of the club’s transfer window could look like.
What did Laporta say about the rest of the transfer window?
Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, Laporta was asked about whether the upcoming season’s squad is better than last season’s squad. The president said, “Our main interest and obsession was to keep last season’s team, because it was historic.
“We wanted to maintain that team spirit with the players we had, hence many offers that have been received and have not even been contemplated. The coach asked us for more gunpowder in front. With Marcus Rashford, we have it.”

Hansi Flick made it clear that his priority was strengthening his options at winger, and he believes he’s found the right players.
When asked about more signings, Laporta said, “With Roony Bardghji there is also a lot of hope because he is an explosive player of these that he likes to see. And this season, we have already met the objectives.”
Laporta was pressed on whether reinforcements would come in, and he said, “Not in principle. We have a squad, and the coach wants to make additions in the dynamics of the first team with Barça Atlètic players, but additions are not expected at this time.”
Laporta was also asked about departures and said, “We’ll try to avoid any painful exit. I’m not going to specify in players because they are all from Barça and we are all delighted with them.
“But there will be certain adjustments, because there are too many players in some positions, replicated, and something will have to be done. This is already at the discretion of the coach and Deco.”
