Seattle Mariners acquire first baseman Josh Naylor from Arizona Diamondbacks

The Seattle Mariners are grabbing some power to insert into the middle of their lineup. Jeff Passan has reported that the Mariners, who are 54-48, and six games behind the Houston Astros in the American League West will acquire Josh Naylor from the Arizona Diamondbacks.

While Seattle is down in the division, they are tied with Boston for the second wildcard in the American League.

Naylor will come to Seattle with a .292 batting average, along with 11 home runs and 59 runs batted in.
