Man Utd turn attention to in-demand striker as next target

Manchester United have finally secured their one of their main targets, with Bryan Mbeumo’s official announcement expected soon.

The club has also added Matheus Cunha to their attack, with the Brazilian making his debut in a goalless draw against Leeds.

Ruben Amorim is now looking for a striker, and he could battle another Premier League side for the signature of an in-demand striker.

Which striker has United initiated contacts with?

According to FootMercato, United have been in contact with Randal Kolo Muani.

The PSG striker, who has been on loan at Juventus, has also attracted interest from Newcastle.

Kolo Muani scored eight goals in 19 matches for Juventus in the Serie A this season, but the striker has great pace and technical abilities.

United are looking to fill the No. 9 position, and PSG are aiming for Kolo Muani to leave on a permanent transfer this summer.

Amorim is also weighing up a move for Benjamin Sesko, but Kolo Muani’s price tag will likely be cheaper.

Any big money moves for United will have to come after the club offloads a player or two, which could be imminent as Barcelona are closing in on a loan deal for Marcus Rashford.
