Cole Palmer reveals the teammate he is closest to at Chelsea

Though Chelsea boasts several young and talented players in their ranks, Cole Palmer is undoubtedly the best of the lot.

The 23-year-old proved his worth once again in the Club World Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain as he scored two goals and set up another to guide the Blues to a 3-0 win.

Therefore, it comes as no surprise that Chelsea deems Palmer to be unsellable, along with his teammate Moises Caicedo.

In a free-flowing interview with The Daily Mail after winning the Club World Cup, Palmer has revealed his favourite teammate at Chelsea and added that the duo are inseparable.

It may surprise some Chelsea fans to hear Palmer admit that his closest friend at Chelsea is Tosin Adarabioyo.

When discussing Blues teammate Tosin, Palmer said via The Daily Mail: “We know the same people and he’s just similar to me. So we’ve got on really well ever since he’s been at Chelsea. And now you can’t separate us.”

Tosin and Palmer could be a duo for the future for Chelsea

Tosin, 27, turned out to be an incredible signing by Chelsea last year on a free transfer. Not only is the central defender a great player in his own right, but he’s also close with Palmer, and it sounds like a key figure inside the dressing room.

Blues head coach Enzo Maresca described Tosin as a leader in Chelsea’s dressing room. The centre-half is an older figure in such a young squad, when he’s only really just entering his prime years now.

Given that Tosin has his best years ahead of him and he has a great bond with Palmer, Blues fans will be happy to know that Tosin’s contract at the club runs until 2028. The duo will be looking to achieve great things for the club during their time together.
