The Miami Dolphins could be facing major changes once the 2026 season rolls around. If head coach Mike McDaniel doesn’t have a “prove-it” type of year in 2025, his time in Miami may be nearing an end. Even the front office isn’t doing him any favors, recently trading away one of the team’s best offensive weapons.
“All of those now put a tremendous amount of pressure on McDaniel, who is coming off his first under .500 season with the Dolphins, who were also on the outside looking in on the playoffs. We already listed McDaniel as a head coach with one of the hottest seats in the NFL entering 2025, and the road to save his job just got even more difficult,” CBS Sports’ Tyler Sullivan wrote.
Randy Moss fired a shot at Tyreek Hill, shutting it all down to him being considered as one of the best all-time.
“He’s nowhere all-time,” Moss said flatly. “Where is he at in today’s game? Tyreek Hill is probably top five. I put him top five.”
Hill enters this season with a noticeably different mindset after what many considered a down year. Still, he’s ranked among the top three wide receivers in the league by NFL scouts.
“Even if he’s lost a half-step, he’s still more explosive than everyone — power with raw speed. I do think defenses have made some adjustments to that [Miami] offense, letting him run around with window dressing and limiting big plays,” an AFC scout said.

“He still impacts how you prepare for them so much due to his speed,” an NFC executive said. “He dictates so much. His speed hasn’t fallen off, despite the down year.”
Hill is ranked No. 3 on the list, and if Tua Tagovailoa can stay healthy, the offense should run more comfortably. All signs point to 2025 being a massive season for Hill and potentially a make-or-break one for the Dolphins as a whole.
