Former Tottenham Hotspur star Jamie O’Hara has tipped new Chelsea star Joao Pedro to become world-class following some impressive performances at the Club World Cup.
The Blues shocked everyone but themselves on Sunday by thrashing Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 in the Club World Cup final.
The win capped off a long and gruelling but successful season for Chelsea with a second major trophy under Enzo Maresca.
One of the major reasons behind Chelsea’s success in the Club World Cup was the form of Joao Pedro, who scored three goals in three games for the Blues, including one in the final.
The Brazilian’s instant impact for Maresca’s team has left fans and pundits raving about his performances and has got everyone excited about what he can achieve for the team going forward.
Former Spurs star Jamie O’Hara is no different, as he too was left impressed by Pedro’s instant impact for Chelsea.

In the space of a couple of weeks, Joao Pedro has joined Chelsea from Brighton and become a household name with supporters.
TalkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara thinks the new Blues striker can develop into a “world-class” player after such a quick start at his new club.
O’Hara told talkSPORT, “Joao Pedro looks the real deal. You’ve signed something a bit special there… I actually think Joao Pedro is going to turn into a world-class (signing). He looks good. He looks confident. He’s looking like a good player.”
O’Hara’s praise for Joao Pedro reveals how highly he rates the player, and Pedro does have the potential to become a world-class player at Chelsea, but only time will tell if he lives up to that potential.
