Bucks reportedly showing interest in $109 million wing from Eastern Conference rival

It’s almost certain that the Milwaukee Bucks will look to improve their roster during the remainder of the offseason. However, with someone limited assets, unless the Bucks are willing to part ways with their 2031 first-round pick, it’s tough to see a scenario where they’ll find a perfect player.

Despite the reality of the Bucks’ situation, Jon Horst has consistently proven over the past few years that if given the chance to make a blockbuster deal, even when nobody is expecting it, he’ll do so.

According to a recent report from a Miami Heat Insider, the Bucks may be considering a move.

According to Five Reasons Sports’ Greg Sylvander, the Bucks are a potential suitor for Heat wing Andrew Wiggins.

“Milwaukee may be another suitor for Andrew Wiggins,” Sylvander wrote via Discord.

Wiggins had a down year for the Heat a year ago after being traded by the Golden State Warriors in a deal involving Jimmy Butler. The hope was for him to go to Miami and continue playing at the level he has over the past few years, but that wasn’t the case.

In Milwaukee, however, he’d likely be in a much better situation because of his ability to get open shots next to Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Heat were also in a weird spot last year after everything that went down, so Wiggins likely isn’t to blame.

If the Bucks could get the Wiggins of the old, when he was with the Warriors, they’d be in a perfect spot.

They’ve needed a big wing who can hit shots and defend with the best of them, and Wiggins was just that for much of his time in Golden State. During the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics, he defended Jayson Tatum well, something the Bucks would love to have when the playoffs arrive.
