The Devils have added some depth to the offensive front with the Brown and Dadonov additions. They also upgraded at the backup goalie position with the acquisition of Jake Allen, giving New Jersey one of the best tender tandems with Jakob Markstrom at the helm.

New Jersey have lost some middle and bottom of the lineup pieces, but nothing remarkable as the club will look have a similar feel moving forward.
Highest draft pick: Conrad Fondrk, 50th overall
Salary cap space: $6.9 million
Staff: The Devils will be utilizing the same staff next season with head coach Sheldon Keefe returning for his second season behind the bench in what was a successful first season getting the club back to the playoffs. They will look to go on a deeper run next year.
Other: The Devils top defenseman Dougie Hamilton continues to be a name featured in trade rumors as his future in Jersey persists to be unclear at the moment on what is a crowded backend. Perhaps losing Hamilton would not be too heavy a loss for the Devils if Vancouver dman Quinn Hughes decides to join his brothers in the future.
