Bayern Munich’s journey in the 2025 Club World Cup came to an end after they suffered a 2-0 loss against Paris Saint-Germain in the quarterfinals on July 5.
Now, following their elimination from the competition, Bayern are focused on the summer transfer window to further strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season.
One name on the Bundesliga giant’s transfer target list is Liverpool winger Luis Diaz. The 28-year-old arrived at Anfield from Porto in 2022, and his current contract there is valid until the summer of 2027
Reports have suggested that Diaz has reached a gentleman’s agreement with Liverpool that if the Reds receive an offer of €80-85 million for the Colombia star, he can part ways with the English club.
Diaz has also reportedly turned down Liverpool’s offers to renew his contract.
Bayern and Barcelona have been heavily linked to make a move for Diaz this summer, and now, the German club have revealed their terms to secure this potential signing.

What are Bayern Munich’s terms for signing Liverpool’s Luis Diaz?
Bayern are not willing to pay more than €60m in a fixed fee for Diaz, which is significantly less than Liverpool’s estimation, according to Bayern Insider.
However, Bayern are reportedly ready to pay the remaining sum of Liverpool’s demanded fee in bonuses and add-ons. Both clubs are anticipated to negotiate terms over the transfer fee and its structure soon.
Diaz made 50 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool in the 2024/25 season, during which he netted 17 goals and provided eight assists.
