Arsenal have made it a habit of signing players from Chelsea in the recent past, and the Gunners might be on the verge of doing an encore.
In the past few years, a number of players have swapped Stamford Bridge for the Emirates Stadium and have enjoyed varying degrees of success with the move.
Just a few days back, former Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga became the latest player to move over from West London to North London.
Now, according to reports, Mikel Arteta is trying to convince another Chelsea star to swap the blue half of London for the red side.
Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, 23, is the latest Blues player linked with a potential move across London to Arsenal.
Journalist Simon Phillips now claims via Substack that Arsenal are in talks with Madueke’s agents to sell the idea of joining them.

Reportedly, Gunners manager Mikel Arteta is reaching out to the Chelsea winger because he really likes the player and is trying to convince him to join. However, the club are yet to make any kind of offer for the player.
Phillips adds that Madueke is not convinced by a move to Arsenal, largely because he doesn’t want to play on the left wing, and he could be a backup to Bukayo Saka on the right wing.
While there is uncertainty about Madueke’s future at Chelsea, that does come as no surprise since he is one of Enzo Maresca’s favorite players.
Having said that, Chelsea’s midfield is absolutely stacked for next season, and the player might find regular opportunities hard to come by.
In such a scenario, it may come down to the player’s ambition and where he wants to play in the coming season, as he is certain to have to fight for his place regardless of the club he is at.
