With the Fourth of July coming up, who are the best American born NHL players of all time in terms of production? Here is a list of the top 10 US points producers in the game’s history. 

1. Mike Modano- 1374 points

Arguably the greatest American hockey player of all time, Stars legend Mike Modano was one of the best players in the game in the 90s.

2. Patrick Kane- 1343 points 

No player in the 2010s decade had more points than Patrick Kane. The still active hockey icon has a chance this season to pass Modano for the most points in US history.

3. Phil Housley- 1232 points

The highest scoring defenseman in US history, Housley was one of the best dmen in the game during his tenure.

4. Jeremy Roenick- 1216 points

JR was Mr. Excitement during his career with his scoring touch and tenacity being a pain for the opposition to deal with.

5. Joe Pavelski- 1068 points 

Joe Pavelski was one of the best net front players of his era, dangerous with his tipping game on the power play.
