Steph Curry’s sweet birthday tribute to his 7-year-old son Canon

Steph Curry’s son, Canon, turned 7 on Wednesday, July 2, and was showered with love as he celebrated his special day.

Early Wednesday morning, the Golden State Warriors star dropped a sweet message on Instagram, writing, “My guy CWJC is 7! Laughs, jokes, country & Patwa accents and 1000 ‘look what I can do’s’ a day. We love you, Young Wolf.”

Steph, 37, included an adorable photo of Canon sitting on a rock near the ocean with a huge smile on his face.

Canon is the oldest son of Steph and his wife, Ayesha Curry. They also share three other children: Riley, 12, Ryan, 9, and Caius, who is an infant.

Little Canon wasn’t just celebrated by his dad on his birthday. Steph’s wife, Ayesha, also shared a birthday message on Wednesday morning, along with a heartwarming picture of her oldest son on social media.

She captioned the Instagram post, “Our Canon Jack turned SEVEN today! 7?! I truly don’t know where the time goes.”

“He is the most, passionate, empathetic and head strong human being I’ve ever met. I can’t believe God blessed me with the privilege of being his mama. 🥰🥹,” she continued.

Canon was upset when the Warriors lost in the NBA playoffs

Earlier this year, Canon went viral during the first round of the NBA playoffs, when he was seen crying after the Golden State Warriors lost to the Houston Rockets.

During Game 6, Steph noticed his son’s reaction and walked over to console him.

Canon, who was sitting in the front row of the bleachers with mom, Ayesha, was so upset that he refused to talk to his father when he attempted to cheer him up.
