Bayern Munich step up shock interest in ‘out of favour’ Man United star

Bayern Munich are in deep waters in this summer transfer window with their recruitment. The Bavarians desperately need reinforcements in attack, and until now, they have struggled to bring players.

The German champions need to address the void left by their confirmed departure of Leroy Sane and Thomas Muller in attack. They have enquired about some of their targets, but mostly received rejection.

Fresh reports via BILD suggest that Bayern Munich are considering a move to sign Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford, who is looking to move out of Old Trafford this summer.

United are open to selling Rashford for as little as £40m ($55m) transfer fee. Bayern Munich feel the 27-year-old could be a great addition to the roster at that price.

The Bavarians were impressed by Rashford’s performance on loan for Aston Villa and feel that the Englishman could be of great use in Vincent Kompany’s system at Allianz Arena.

As per David Ornstein, Rashford is looking to move out of the Premier League. He is open to moving out on loan and also on a swap deal. He is keen to win titles, and Bayern could be an ideal team for the England international.

What could Marcus Rashford bring to the Bayern Munich squad?

Manchester United are keen to offload some of their players this summer to free up funds to facilitate transfers, and Rashford is one of their surplus players.

The 27-year-old showed some glimpses of his brilliance at Villa on loan last season, where he had six goal contributions in 14 matches across competitions.

Rashford is extremely versatile and can feature on the flanks and also through the middle. So he could be a useful player for Kompany.

The England international featured in some Champions League matches for Villa and showed that he still belongs at this level.

He brings pace, dribbling, goals and creativity in attack and could flourish under a new setting.

Bayern would also consider the success of Premier League stars – Harry Kane and Michael Olise in recent years at Bavaria before making a move for the 27-year-old.

For now, Rashford has joined a long list of targets for Bayern, who are also monitoring the situation of Liverpool winger Luis Diaz.
