The NASCAR Cup Series had another exciting weekend, this time under the bright lights of Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Quaker State 400. The drivers will enjoy a Sunday off as they gear up for the Grant Park 165 next weekend.
The famed Chicago street race will take place Sunday, July 6, two days after the Fourth of July. One of the best events of the year, all eyes will be on the 2.12-mile course running through the streets of Grant Park in downtown Chicago.
Alex Bowman triumphantly won the Grant Park 165 last year, and he should be in attendance defending his title this year. The Hendicks Motorsports star wrecked in Michigan two weeks ago, but he has recovered from his injuries and returned to action.
