As expected, Duke shined brightest at the 2025 NBA Draft
The Blue Devils led all schools with five players selected, including three top-10 picks in Cooper Flagg (No. 1 overall to the Mavericks), Kon Knueppel (No. 4 overall to the Hornets), and Khaman Maluach (No. 10 overall to the Suns). Sion James (No. 33 overall to the Hornets) and Tyrese Proctor (No. 49 overall to the Cavaliers) were selected in the second round.
The SEC, however, was the dominant conference with 13 players selected, including Tre Johnson (No. 6 overall to the Wizards), Walter Clayton Jr. (No. 18 overall to the Jazz), and Johni Broome (No. 35 overall to the 76ers).
