5-time All-Star just called out ex-teammate Jimmy Butler and Donovan Mitchell thought it was hilarious

The Miami Heat welcomed Jimmy Butler back to Miami on Tuesday night. Butler, who made it ugly during his final weeks with the Heat, didn’t exactly get much love from the Heat fan base.

While he did plenty for the organization, including two final appearances, what he did at the end has been heavily criticized. It’s over with, as Butler is now with the Golden State Warriors and enjoying success with Stephen Curry, but most fans didn’t forget about it.

Butler didn’t seem to care much for his former teammates and coaches either, walking off the court and not speaking to them much during the game.

That caught the attention of Kevin Love, who, of course, made an Instagram post about it.

Not only did Love have something to say, but Cleveland Cavaliers superstar Donovan Mitchell thought it was hilarious.

The former Heat star admitted he was done with everything that went on, saying it was behind him “a long time ago.”

“It was behind me a long time ago,” Butler said, according to Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports. “As soon as I ended up a Golden State Warrior, everything that went on was dead.”

Miami gave him a tribute video, but Butler didn’t seem to care much about it. He added that he loved the fan base and city, but the video didn’t mean much to him.

“I got a lot of love for the city, the fan base here,” Butler said. “The video was nice. I won’t say there’s a lot of emotions. I came into this thing levelheaded.”
