The fan portion of the 2025 Pro Bowl voting is complete and two Detroit Lions players landed in the top five overall vote-getters, and many other Lions players finished in the top 10 at their respective positions.
Those two Lions are running back Jahmyr Gibbs and quarterback Jared Goff, who finished No. 2 and No. 5, respectively. Rounding out the top five were Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (No. 1), Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (No. 3) and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (No. 4).
Here’s a look at the totals for each player in the top five:
1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: 252,200
2. Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions: 250,082
3. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders: 242,352
4. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals: 239,526
5. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions: 225,858
There has been no sophomore slump for Gibbs, who easily surpassed all of his major stat totals from his rookie campaign with one game left to play.
Gibbs set new career-highs in rushing yards (1,273), receiving yards (486) and rushing (13), receiving (three) and total touchdowns (16). Not only does Gibbs deserve a Pro Bowl nod, he should be an All-Pro, also.
Goff has been sensational, as well. The Lions quarterback has completed 71.7 percent of his passes for 4,398 yards and 36 touchdowns to 10 interceptions. His completion rate and touchdowns are the best marks of his career, and he’s 291 passing yards shy of breaking his previous personal best through 16 games.
Several Lions finished in the top 10 in fan voting at their positions, a group that includes center Frank Ragnow (No. 1), free safety Kerby Joseph (No. 1), strong safety Brian Branch (No. 2), cornerback Carlton Davis (No. 4), guards Kevin Zeitler (No. 1) and Graham Glasgow (No. 2), punter Jack Fox (No. 1), running back Sione Vaki (No. 3, special teams), inside linebacker Jack Campbell (No. 2), offensive tackles Penei Sewell (No. 1) and Taylor Decker (No. 2), defensive tackle Alim McNeill (No. 3), kicker Jake Bates (No. 3), tight end Sam LaPorta (No. 4), long snapper Hogan Hatten (No. 4) and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (No. 1).
The Pro Bowl voting has not been completed yet, though, as the player and coach portions of the voting has yet to be tallied. Each portion counts as one-third of the total vote. The official Pro Bowl rosters will be revealed on Thursday, Jan. 2, at 9 a.m. ET.
