Where to watch Novak Djokovic vs Jannik Sinner live stream, TV channel, prediction for Australian Open semifinal

In recent years, Novak Djokovic and the Australian Open tennis tournament have gone hand-in-hand. The sensational Serbian has already won a record-breaking 10 titles at Melbourne Park, and having defeated twelfth seed Taylor Fritz in the 2024 quarterfinals, he’s well on course for number 11.

After beating both Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Adrian Mannarino in straight sets in the third and fourth rounds respectively, Djokovic dropped just one to Fritz in their quarterfinal, triumphing 7-6 4-6 6-2 6-3 over the Californian to book a place in the last four.

His opponent in the semifinal is Italy’s Jannik Sinner, who impressively defeated fifth seed Andrey Rublev in straight sets (6-4 7-6 6-3) to seal his best ever finish at the Australian Open. The world number four is yet to win a career grand slam or reach the final of one, but if he can pull off the ultimate shock and beat Djokovic in the last four, he could well go all the way at Melbourne Park.

Novak Djokovic vs Jannik Sinner prediction

Djokovic’s march towards a record-extending 11th Australian Open title looks unstoppable at the moment, dropping just one set apiece in the first and second rounds during a near-infallible run to the semifinals. His record against Sinner from five singles matches reads four victories to one defeat — though that solitary loss did come in their most recent meeting at the 2023 Davis Cup.

Sinner will no doubt be hoping to exercise that performance from last November, which saw him defeat the Serb 6-2 2-6 7-5, but given the absolute domination we’ve seen from Djokovic throughout the years at Melbourne Park, the stage looks set for him to reach an 11th Australian Open final.

Prediction: Djokovic to win in five sets
