City captain Kyle Walker and first choice goalkeeper Ederson miss out due to injury. Manuel Akanji returned early from international duty with Switzerland but is fit to play.

Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden will provide the main support to Erling Haaland in attack, with Jack Grealish, Jeremy Doku and Julian Alvarez all among the substitutes

Man City vs Arsenal prediction

Victory for either side would give them a major boost in the title race and the tension ahead of kickoff will be significant for Guardiola and Arteta in Manchester. 

City are unbeaten in their last 22 games in all competitions, with Arsenal winning their last eight successive Premier League games, including victory over Liverpool in February.

Arteta finally secured a win over City back in October and he will be confident of picking up a positive result back at the Etihad Stadium
