Saudi Pro League table, standings 2022-2023: Can Cristiano Ronaldo, Al Nassr win title?

Al Nassr have slipped down to second place in the Saudi Pro League, after losing 1-0 away at Al Ittihad on March 9, with Nuno Santo’s hosts moving above them in the rankings.

Only this season’s Saudi Pro League champions are guaranteed a spot in Asia’s 2023/24 AFC Champions League.

Saudi Arabia’s other two Champions League group stage berths go to the 2021/22 league champion (Al Hilal) and the 2022/23 King Cup winner to be determined in May. A Champions League qualifying spot has also been assigned to last season’s 2021/22 King Cup winner (Al Fayha).

In the relegation zone, the bottom three sides will drop down to the First Division League, with Al Batin on the brink of falling through the trap door after winning just two games in 2022/23. Al Khaleej and Al Adalah are also fighting to avoid dropping right back down after just earning promotion from the second division last season.

The Sporting News will track the 2022/23 Saudi Pro League standings below with just 11 matchdays remaining in the season, which comes to a close on May 31.
