Barcelona remain clear at the top of La Liga but Real Madrid remain firmly in the league title race with a fair chunk of the 2022/23 season remaining.
Below them, Real Sociedad are enjoying a successful campaign, joining the likes of Atletico Madrid, Real Betis and Rayo Vallecano in the battle for a place in Europe next season.
At the wrong end of the table, Elche are all but destined for the drop with only one La Liga win to their name so far. Valencia are also surprisingly in the drop zone but remain within touching distance of several clubs also flirting with relegation.
