Bayern Munich have had a solid start to their new season with three victories from the first three games in the Bundesliga having scored 14 goals whilst only conceding two until now.
It has been a smooth start to title defense for Vincent Kompany’s men despite all the squad depth ramblings during the summer transfer window.
Despite signing Luis Diaz and Nicolas Jackson on loan, Bayern Munich are still a slightly shorthanded with players like Jamal Musiala, Alphonso Davies and Hiroki Ito are out injured.
Therefore, this has forced Kompany to integrate academy graduate Lennart Karl, who made his debut for the senior team in the Club World Cup from last season.
Although only 17, Karl has shown great skillset while playing on the right and former Germany international, Sami Khedira has hailed the youngster as one of the biggest German talents right now.
Karl, who is known for exceptional dribbling, speed and ball striking has all the talent and the skills to flourish at Bayern Munich and also for Germany.

“Lennart Karl is the hottest stock we have,” Khedira told Kicker in a recent interview. “He has an incredibly great sense of play. He has this certain arrogance – but a healthy arrogance. I just love them. These are players who know: I’m incredibly good, but I still respect the seasoned professionals.”
The teenager replaced Harry Kane in the 63rd minute of the match against Hamburg with the Bavarians already leading 5-0 at the Allianz Arena. He had a couple of great looks but failed to extend the scoreline.
What did Khedira say about Bayern Munich’s dominance in the Bundesliga this season?
Bayern Munich are unsurprisingly the only team in the Bundesliga to kick-start their campaign with a perfect start after the first three games.

Despite the squad depth issues and not enough high-profile signings, the Bavarians continue to rule the roost in the Bundesliga especially after regaining control last season.
Also, many Bundesliga teams lost their primary talents this summer and the new signings will take time to settle in a new atmosphere.
Khedira believes Bayern Munich have too many talented players in their roster and though he wants more teams to fight for the league title, he can’t go past the reigning German champions.
“It would be nice for the Bundesliga. But if I’m honest, I don’t think so. Even if the [Bayern Munich] squad is a bit thin. But then with Karl and Wisdom Mike, you also have German talents again who can play incredibly well and who will hopefully get their chance in the Bundesliga. I think Bayern are untouchable at national level.”
Overall, it will be interesting to see how Karl develops under Kompany as he is regularly getting gametime at Bayern Munich, playing second fiddle on the right flank to Michael Olise.
