What time is Tony Yoka vs. Carlos Takam today? Schedule, main card start time for 2023 boxing fight

Following an initial delay, Tony Yoka and Carlos Takam will finally face off in a boxing ring. The heavyweights fight one another on March 11 inside the Zenith Paris in France.

The 42-year-old Takam is a 2003 African Championships gold medalist. Turning pro in 2005, Takam lost two in a row against Anthony Joshua, in a world title shot, and Derek Chisora. Following those setbacks, he went 4-0 before going 0-2 against Joe Joyce and Arslanbek Makhmudov.

A 2016 Olympic gold medalist, Yoka turned pro in 2017. Early in his career, Yoka beat the likes of Michael Wallisch and Christian Hammer. His last win was against Petar Milas in 2021.

These two were supposed to fight in January 2022, but Takam backed out due to injury. After a bout with Filip Hrgovic collapsed, Yoka elected to face Martin Bakole and dropped a 10-round majority decision after suffering two knockdowns.
