NHL Skills Competition start time, channel, live streams, participants for All-Star weekend in Toronto

This year, a select pool of 12 players will compete in a series of eight events, earning points along the way. At the end, the player with the most points will receive a grand prize of $1 million.

The format is a byproduct of Edmonton forward Connor McDavid, who helped design the new-look competition alongside NHL senior VP and chief content officer Steve Mayer.

McDavid is among the 12 All-Stars competing in the Skills competition, along with Tampa Bay forward Nikita Kucherov, Colorado forward Nathan MacKinnon and Toronto forward Auston Matthews, among others.
