Sweden grabbed a huge win on Thursday, taking down Czechia 3-2 in overtime thanks to a game-winner by Ludvig Jansson. The victory puts Sweden in the driver’s seat for first place in Group A.

The only way the Canadians can pass the Swedes is with a regulation win. Sweden just needs to earn at least a point in order to finish ahead of Canada. Both teams’ positioning will be impacted by the result of the Czechia-Germany game.
