Conor Benn vs. Peter Dobson date, start time, card, price & live stream for 2024 boxing fight

Conor Benn is looking to make up for lost time when he faces Peter Dobson on February 3. The fight in Las Vegas airs on DAZN worldwide.

The son of former world champion Nigel Benn, Conor turned pro at 19 in 2016. Winner of 14 fights via knockout, Benn was meant to face Chris Eubank Jr., but the fight got scrapped after the former failed multiple drug tests after testing positive for clomifene. It was determined by the WBC the failed tests were a result of a “highly elevated consumption of eggs.” UKAD suspended Benn from competing in the U.K., but Eddie Hearn found a way for Benn to compete in the U.S.

Benn’s last fight was a September win against Rodolfo Orozco in Florida. He’s ready to make an impact in the U.S. by headlining his first major show in Las Vegas.

“Headlining in Vegas is a dream come true, not just for me, but for any fighter who grew up watching the sport of boxing,” said Benn. “Vegas has been the stage for many legends before me, and I can’t wait to step into that arena on February 3rd against the undefeated Welterweight Peter Dobson, who stepped up to accept the challenge when many wouldn’t… I’m here to put the entire 147 division on notice.”

Dobson turned pro in 2014. The 33-year-old didn’t compete in 2023, with his last fight being a unanimous decision win in June 2022 against Rodrigo Damian Coria. The Bronx native has nine wins via knockout.

“I want to thank Matchroom for keeping their word and circling back to me after a few fights fell through previously,” said Dobson. “Conor is coming to the U.S. and going to get his a– whooped. He’s not his daddy. He never seen anyone like me. ‘Pistol’ Pete Dobson is about to ruin another Matchroom hype job. This time in the ring.”
