Former Milwaukee Bucks guard Malcolm Brogdon is still without a team, which many find surprising. While Brogdon has had some nice moments throughout his career, including winning the Rookie of the Year after being drafted in the second round by the Bucks, he’s also been injured for other parts, and contending teams are likely taking note of that.
Despite injury concerns, Brogdon remains good enough to be on a team, with many believing he has a few options to pursue. That includes Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report, who recently wrote that the most obvious team that could use him is the Golden State Warriors.
“Brogdon played a bit part in 2024-25 for the Wizards, making 24 appearances after various injuries. He averaged 12.7 points and 4.1 assists per game, but he struggled with his outside shot (28.6 percent). Almost 33, he could still help a team with playoff aspirations as an experienced point guard off the bench.
“Teams like the L.A. Clippers and Dallas Mavericks had shown interest, but they went with Chris Paul and D’Angelo Russell, respectively. The most obvious team in need may be the Golden State Warriors,” he wrote.
At this stage of Brogdon’s career, he might want to play with a team like the Warriors.

He’s yet to win a championship, and while it’s uncertain if that’s exactly what he’s looking for in his career, the Warriors might give him the best chance to accomplish that at this stage of his career.
His injuries are worrisome, but when he’s on the court, he could certainly be a starter if he plays as well as he can.
