LeBron James on Christmas Day: Live score, highlights from Lakers vs. Mavericks game

Lakers star LeBron James will set a new Christmas Day record simply by walking onto the court for Sunday’s game against the Mavericks.

With his 17th appearance in a Christmas Day game, James will break a tie with Kobe Bryant for the most in NBA history. He can also become the all-time leader in Christmas Day wins. He is currently tied with Dwyane Wade, his former Heat teammate, at 10 victories.

But securing win No. 11 won’t be easy. James and the Lakers will face the Luka Doncic-led Mavericks in Dallas without Anthony Davis, who is dealing with a right foot injury. Can James propel the Lakers past the Mavs?
